Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Robert and I would be honored to be your Therapist. I would like to tell you about myself. I have been a Social Worker for the past 20 years and I have worked with a lot of different people in a variety of situations.
I am working on a new schedule. My schedule is 6am to 2:00 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 am to 11 am then 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as Sundays from 1pm to 8 pm Sundays Pacific Standard Time. I am very comfortable conducting therapy via video or phone but not Live chat
The most important thing I need you to know about me and how I work is that I believe Social Work to be a calling and I truly believe in the power of Therapy to change lives. I believe that talking about the things that hurt us provides us with the power to overcome them.
I am more interested in your strengths than your diagnoses. I am more interested in empowering you to make your own decisions than I am in you doing what is “right.”
Regarding therapy, I am not bound to any one theoretical approach. I tend to utilize a variety of approaches in therapy because I want to provide you with a personalized therapeutic experience.
I need you to know that I will only focus on what you think is important. I will not push you to share anything that you are not comfortable sharing but I will ask you questions about things I think are important to provide insight into the situation at hand.
I will always be honest with you in every situation and I will continue to exhibit compassion and empathy towards your situation. One of my favorite sayings regarding therapy is that “It matters because it matters to you.” I look forward to working with you.

Okechuku Nwanganga is a licensed clinical social worker in California, practicing under the registration CA LCSW 27072, and brings 10 years of experience to his work with individuals and families. He approaches therapy as a vocation and believes deeply in the capacity of therapy to promote meaningful change; for him, discussing painful experiences is a pathway to overcoming them.
He emphasizes clients’ strengths rather than focusing solely on diagnostic labels, and he aims to empower people to make choices that fit their values rather than prescribing what is “right.” He does not adhere to a single theoretical model – instead he draws from multiple approaches to create a personalized therapeutic experience tailored to each person’s needs.
Okechuku centers sessions on what the client identifies as most important. He will not pressure anyone to disclose more than they are comfortable sharing, yet he will ask thoughtful questions when additional exploration may illuminate the situation. He commits to honesty, compassion, and empathy in every interaction.
He is comfortable conducting therapy via video or phone. His typical availability includes 6:00 am to 2:00 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays; on Tuesdays and Thursdays he is available 6:00 am to 11:00 am and 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm; and Sundays from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Pacific Standard Time.
One of his guiding principles is summed up in a favorite phrase: “It matters because it matters to you.” He would be honored to work with individuals who are ready to explore change and growth.
Many people ask whether meeting with a therapist online truly helps. For a wide range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and adjusting to life changes – online therapy has been found to be an effective alternative to traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage is convenience and flexibility. Individuals can connect with therapists in the format that best fits their needs and routines, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to maintain consistency and incorporate therapy into a busy life.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they decide a different fit would work better. Online therapy can offer an accessible way to pursue care for common emotional and relational challenges while adapting to each person’s schedule and communication preferences.
