Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, my name is Pete Martucci and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, currently working in the state of Minnesota. I have been a practicing counselor for 6 years and I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. I am currently completing my PhD in Counselor Education with a specialization in crisis and trauma. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Counselor as well as a Disaster Mental Health Counselor and an Approved Clinical Supervisor. I have spent the bulk of my career studying the impact of trauma and how it can direct our thoughts and behaviors. I have worked with individuals across a broad spectrum of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, panic disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, relationship difficulties, body image, self-esteem concerns, addiction and other life challenges.
My therapeutic/counseling style is rooted in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I believe it is an empowering framework that assists clients in recognizing and treating their mental health concerns, by challenging the way we think and how we act on those thoughts. I also will challenge you to move outside of your comfort areas and address those discomforts. In addition to CBT, I practice through a Solution-Focused approach that is helpful in addressing life challenges and stressors. I want you to feel comfortable in our work together and because of that I treat all individuals with respect, kindness and removed of any judgment.
It takes great courage to ask for help and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with you as you move forward on this journey to a healthier life and mind. I believe the work we do together, is a collaborative process and I will assist you to learn, grow, and make positive changes that can result in a more fulfilling life.
I look forward to hearing from you and beginning our work together.

Pietro (Pete) Martucci is a licensed professional clinical counselor practicing in Minnesota. He brings seven years of hands-on therapy experience and is completing a PhD in Counselor Education with a specialization in crisis and trauma.
He holds a Minnesota professional clinical counselor license (MN LPCC 2674) and has earned credentials as a Certified Clinical Trauma Counselor, a Disaster Mental Health Counselor, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor. Much of his work focuses on understanding how traumatic experiences shape thoughts and behaviors and on helping people move forward from those patterns.
Pete works with a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, addictions, self-esteem and body image issues, relationship and family conflicts, parenting challenges, anger management, and coping with life changes. He uses cognitive-behavioral therapy as a foundation because of its practical, skills-based approach, and he also integrates solution-focused techniques to address immediate life stressors and goals.
His style is collaborative and direct – he encourages clients to challenge unhelpful thoughts and to take steps outside familiar comfort zones while treating each person with respect and without judgment. He frames therapy as a joint process aimed at learning, growth, and meaningful change toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, evidence shows that online therapy is comparably effective to traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that works best for them, whether that is video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or messaging. This range of options makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy life and to stay connected when circumstances change.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals and therapists who bring clinical training to remote work. If one therapist’s style does not feel like the right match, clients can switch to a different provider to find a better fit.
Overall, online therapy offers a practical and accessible way to address many everyday mental health concerns while providing scheduling and format flexibility that meets individual needs.
