Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I have a number of years providing personal and career counseling both individually and in groups. I like to help people distinguish between problems they can solve from those with which they have to adjust. I try to help people identify as many ways as possible to solve problems, but I do not select which alternative(s) would work best – they do. I also try to help clients set priorities by identifying which concerns need immediate attention (acute) versus which concerns are ongoing (chronic). I’ve worked with inner-city Detroit clients as well as those from suburbia.
I have taught counseling courses at Oakland University, Shippensburg University, University of Detroit, and University of Phoenix. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling from Wayne State University and a Ph.D degree in Counseling from the University of Michigan.
My name is Peter Wolf and I look forward to meeting you!

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
A major advantage is the flexibility it offers. Individuals can connect in the format that works best for them – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
All therapists offering these services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch to a different therapist if they feel a different fit would be more helpful.
