Penny Farrelly is a person-centred counsellor who works from the view that each person is the expert of their own story and brings strengths that can help address difficult areas. She centres the therapeutic relationship on respect for the client’s experience and supports people to access their own resources when facing challenges.
Recognising that taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, Penny aims to offer a safe, open and non-judgemental space, working in a warm and friendly way that moves at the client’s pace. Her approach emphasises listening, empathy and collaboration as the foundation for change.
She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) in the United Kingdom and has four years of professional counselling experience. Penny has supported people with a range of concerns including stress and anxiety, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, career difficulties and depression, among other issues. She believes in the value of talking therapy and is committed to helping clients find a more positive place in their lives.
