Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
ABOUT ME
Hello, I have been working with clients, and families, for the past 20 years. My experience includes dealing with a variety of concerns that impact their lives. I believe that who we are and what we are have been, to some degree, influenced by others which is sometimes out of our control. Who we are, our identity, can sometimes get lost and we just need a listening ear to get us back on the right path. My focus in counseling will always be that we have choices in the path we take in our lives, which empowers us to regain control of our lives: regardless of the circumstances we find ourselves in while on this journey called life.
A friend of mine said to me during one of our conversations, “the time you wake up in the morning is your morning, but you need to wake up.” This is your morning because you have reached out and I am glad that you did.
I look forward to working with you

Patrick Lawrence is a licensed clinical social worker in Pennsylvania with eight years of experience supporting individuals and families. He works with people facing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, and parenting issues, focusing on practical steps that help restore balance in daily life.
Patrick views identity as something often shaped by relationships and external forces – and sometimes that influence causes a person to feel disconnected from who they are. His counseling approach centers on listening closely and helping clients recognize that they retain choices in the paths they take, which can empower them to regain a sense of control despite difficult circumstances.
A friend once told him, “the time you wake up in the morning is your morning, but you need to wake up.” Patrick uses that idea as an encouragement for clients who have already taken the first step by reaching out for support.
He looks forward to working with individuals and families as they navigate change and seek clearer direction.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and practice have shown that these types of issues often respond well to remote sessions conducted by trained professionals.
One major benefit of online therapy is flexibility. Clients can choose the format that best fits their schedule and comfort level, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to maintain continuity of care while managing other responsibilities.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. For many people, the combination of effective therapeutic approaches and easier access makes online therapy a practical option for addressing everyday mental health concerns.
