Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello and Welcome! Seeking counseling and opening up to a total stranger takes courage and can be scary. Give yourself a pat on the back for coming here.
My approach is client-centered, which means it’s all about you. I do not have a pre-conceived agenda or formula. I will listen to your concerns and ask you what your goals are, and we’ll start there. If you aren’t even sure about your goals, that’s ok too, we’ll work together to sort things out. My approach is warm, caring and genuine. I will not give pat answers or advice. You probably have already heard them all. Instead, I will work with you to look at what needs to change and provide support as you work on those changes. We will work together as you work on the issues that brought you here.
I have experience with many areas of concern, such as depression, stress, family issues, coping with health issues, abuse and trauma, grief and loss. I have a vast background in child mental health and working/consulting with parents who seek help with parenting. I am also a Registered Nurse (although this is not a medical site). I mention I’m a nurse as the two careers have given me amazing opportunities to work with people in a wide variety of settings. The best part of my Nursing career was Hospice nursing, where I learned to be a great listener as I walked with families through some of their most difficult moments.
I have a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan, and I currently live in Michigan. You can message me anytime of the day/night through the BetterHelp site. I check messages 3-4 times a day Monday through Friday and will get back to you as soon as possible. Having said that, please let me know if my schedule does not fit your needs and I will try to work out a time that works for the both of us.

Pam Grzech welcomes people who are taking the brave step of seeking counseling and recognizes that opening up to a new person can feel difficult. She uses a client-centered approach that puts each individual’s needs and goals at the center of the work, without a one-size-fits-all agenda. If someone is unsure what they want to change, Pam helps them clarify goals and develop a plan together.
Her style is warm, caring, and genuine; she avoids offering pat answers and instead partners with clients to identify what needs to shift and to support them through that process. Pam has worked with many concerns including depression, stress, family conflicts, coping with health issues, abuse and trauma, grief and loss, and sleep difficulties. She also has extensive experience in child mental health and in consulting with parents who want help with parenting challenges.
Pam holds a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University and practices as a licensed social worker in Michigan (LMSW 6801059704). She is also a registered nurse, and her nursing career—particularly hospice nursing—helped her become a skilled listener while supporting families through very challenging moments. Pam brings thirty years of clinical experience to her practice in Michigan.
She monitors messages three to four times per day Monday through Friday and responds as soon as possible. If a client’s scheduling needs do not fit her usual hours, Pam will try to find a mutually workable appointment time.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adapting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as in-person sessions for most people.
One key benefit is greater flexibility – clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, whether that is by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to maintain continuity of care.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch therapists if they want a different fit. Online therapy offers a practical option for many of the everyday concerns people seek help for, while allowing access to professional support from varied locations and formats.
