Hello! My name is Dami, and I’m a Nigerian and I am an accredited therapist in Australia for over 2 years and currently working on developing my independent practice. With two years of professional experience, I’ve had the privilege of receiving supervision from top clinicians and working with a diverse range of clients. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience in helping individuals manage stress, anxiety, addiction, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I also work with clients navigating major life changes.
My therapeutic approach centers on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can freely express themselves. While I draw on various therapeutic techniques, including Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), my primary focus is on building a trusting relationship. This allows my clients to feel comfortable discussing their challenges and working toward meaningful change.
