Norma Clark is a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed to practice in both Louisiana and Texas with 15 years of experience providing individual and group therapy, largely in crisis and trauma settings.
She has worked with people across a wide range of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, psychosis, substance use, and dual diagnosis. While most of her work has been with adults, she also has more than two years of experience supporting families - including couples, parents, children, and chronically suicidal teens.
Norma draws on a variety of creative interventions to complement traditional therapeutic methods, such as art and music, animal-assisted approaches, Tai Chi and yoga, mindfulness practices, expressive writing, and life narrative techniques. These options are used to help clients access emotions, process experiences, and build practical coping strategies.
Her primary aim is to help clients identify, manage, and work through emotional or behavioral issues that interfere with daily life. Norma approaches therapy without judgment, offering attentive listening and steady support as clients face problems directly. She guides individuals toward understanding root causes while teaching coping skills intended to stabilize mood and behavior over time.
