Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am proud to call Wisconsin as my home and have lived my whole life here. I am also licensed in Washington and Colorado and happy to provide therapy to clients in those states as well. I graduated with my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Edgewood College and learned about a systems approach to therapy. Prior to receiving my Master’s degree, I earned my Undergraduate degree in Fine Art.
I enjoy creating art and find that it can aid in the healing process and may be helpful when expressing difficult emotions. I take a strength based approach to therapy and guide you to find solutions to your problems. As I guide you in the therapeutic process, you may gain clarity about what you are feeling and needing in your life.
I believe that relationships are the center of our lives and when we are accepting and compassionate to ourselves we can bring our best to our relationships. I work with individuals, couples, and families, who may be struggling through anxiety, depression, grief and PTSD. As your therapist, I aim to provide you a safe and caring environment, where you feel comfortable to discuss what is happening in your life. Together we will explore ways to heal emotional pain, recognize unhealthy patterns and resolve personal problems.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, photography and art. You will find me visiting a local lake or beach during the summer. I also enjoy spending time with my family. I have two lovable rabbits that also keep me occupied.

Noelle Penshorn is a Wisconsin native who brings an eight-year practice grounded in a systems approach to working with individuals, couples, and families. She earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College, where she trained in interventions that consider relationships and the larger systems people live within, and she completed her undergraduate studies in Fine Art.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, Noelle holds credentials to practice in Wisconsin and Colorado and is also licensed to provide therapy in Washington. She uses a strength-based framework to help clients identify resources, build clarity about feelings and needs, and develop practical solutions to current problems.
Noelle integrates creativity into her clinical work and often encourages art as a means to express difficult emotions and support healing. She works with people facing stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, family conflict, trauma and abuse, grief, major life transitions, intimacy-related issues, parenting challenges, self-esteem struggles, and mood or attention disorders such as bipolar disorder, depression, and ADHD.
In sessions she aims to create a caring, safe environment where clients can explore emotional pain, recognize unhelpful patterns, and resolve personal difficulties. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, hiking, photography, and art, and spends summers near local lakes or beaches. She values time with family and shares her home with two rabbits. Prospective clients are encouraged to reach out to begin the therapeutic process.
Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist remotely can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person treatment.
A major benefit is convenience and flexibility – clients can choose the mode of communication that works best for them, whether that is video sessions, phone talks, live chat, or messaging within an app. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and maintain continuity of care.
Therapists who offer online services are licensed professionals, and if a client decides another fit would be better, switching to a different therapist is an option. For many people dealing with everyday mental health concerns, online therapy provides an accessible and practical way to get support and work toward meaningful change.
