Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Dr. Nicole Livingston, and I am a New Jersey-based clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience assisting clients of all ages. I have been privileged to work with individuals struggling with a wide range of challenges including Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, ADHD, Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Aging and End-of-life issues, Schizoaffective/Psychotic Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Parenting Difficulties, and Relationship Concerns. I am especially honored to have helped first responders, and others experiencing the harmful effects of physical and emotional trauma following 9/11 and other natural disasters.
As a person-centered therapist, I treat my clients with empathy, respect, dignity, and compassion. My approach is to not pass judgment, but rather assist you to achieve the goals you have set for yourself. My theoretical orientation is based primarily on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy approaches (CBT) and also includes humanistic, mindfulness-based, and solution-oriented approaches depending on your unique challenges, preferences, and situation.
Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or not, it takes courage to take this step. I hope to provide you with a safe and productive environment to collaboratively address your needs. I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether therapy delivered online can produce meaningful results. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing major life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable to traditional in-person care.
A major benefit is flexibility – individuals can connect with a therapist in the format that fits their schedule and comfort level, whether that is video sessions, phone appointments, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to include therapy in a busy life.
These services are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients have the option to change providers if they feel a different fit would be better. For many people seeking help with everyday mental health challenges, online therapy offers an effective and practical path to support.
