Hi. My name is Nichelle and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have been practicing therapy for over 8 years. I have worked in various settings as a therapist including schools, hospitals and private practice. Prior to becoming a therapist, I was an educator for twelve years.
I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy aims at challenging and changing some of your unhealthy thoughts, emotions, and behaviors into ones that are more positive and productive. CBT also seeks to help you maintain emotional regulation and help you develop coping tools to address your problems. I can help you manage your problems in a healthy way and find appropriate coping tools. We all have struggled with life’s challenges at some point. It’s okay to ask for help. Let’s work together to find a solution to help you manage your problems.

For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life changes – remote therapy can offer meaningful benefits and has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage of online therapy is flexibility. Clients can connect with their therapist using the method that works best for them – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which can make it easier to fit regular sessions into a busy schedule.
Another practical benefit is continuity of care: clients work with licensed professionals, and if the fit is not right they can switch therapists as needed. This model supports ongoing access to therapeutic help while allowing individuals to choose the communication style and scheduling approach that suit them best.
Overall, online therapy can be an effective and adaptable option for addressing everyday mental health concerns and navigating life transitions, while offering multiple ways to connect with qualified therapists.
