Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I’m a bilingual English-Bengali-speaking psychotherapist licensed in New York State with over 20 years of experience. I worked with individuals and families from ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse backgrounds with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, domestic violence, anger management, parenting problems, OCD, and ADHD.
There are times in life when everything is going well, then suddenly comes to a stop. That’s the time you may feel lost or stuck for many reasons- whether you’re having difficult life events, life transitions, or decisions; are in a troubled marriage or relationship, or struggling to discover yourself. Lost is when people call a therapist. It’s after they have tried everything: waiting for things to get better, talking to friends or relatives, or reading self-help books. When you’re stuck, getting better requires a different set of skills, a revised set of thoughts and feelings, and the right approach. This is what I aid people to discover – or rediscover.
My approach is collaborative and proactive, committed to using our time together to help you enhance your inner coping resources and access a greater sense of happiness, self-discovery, and meaningful change. I work hard during the session to help people feel safe, feel heard, and accepted for who they are while providing them feedback and support.
Seeing a therapist — this is not an easy step you’re considering. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first step towards change. We all have answers within ourselves, but sometimes we need a guide to help us find them. If you are ready to take that step, I’m here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can connect with a therapist in the format that fits their life, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to schedule and maintain consistent care.
Each therapist offering online services is a licensed professional, and it is possible to change therapists if the fit is not right. For many people, remote therapy provides a practical, effective way to get help while adapting to personal schedules and needs.
