Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Transpersonal Arts Counsellor with 4 years professional work experience, working with children through to adults. The transpersonal approach works beyond the the personal identity of an individual. It addresses all aspects of their being, spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional, physical and creative. It attempts to support and facilitate the spiritual psychology and quest for a sense of wholeness.
I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence.
As a humanistic approach it encourages self-development, growth and responsibilities for the individual. Encouragement of this true self will in turn support someone to recognise their strength, creativity and choices.
I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. There are many ways this can be explored through talking but also through the use of Art. For children right through to adults there is a familiar overwhelming feeling of not being able to put events or feelings into words. Verbalising these parts to ourselves can seem like a minefield and this is when Art and creativity can be so incredibly healing. The creative process creates a platform for the individual, it is the only therapy that is able to make the internal visible and tangible. This externalising of the emotion enables it to be reflected on and worked with further. The creative and playful process helps to engage all the senses, supporting an individual to express, experience and communicate themselves. It offers a tool for anyone, there is such a vast source of materials and within them different techniques.

Miranda Coe Jaynes is a Transpersonal Arts Counsellor with four years of professional experience, working with children through to adults. Her approach looks beyond a person’s surface identity to consider spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional, physical and creative aspects of their being, supporting the search for a sense of wholeness.
She has experience helping people with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, and challenges around motivation, self-esteem and confidence. Miranda works from a humanistic perspective that encourages self-development, personal growth and responsibility, and aims to help individuals recognise their strengths, creativity and choices.
In sessions she aims to create an open and safe space where thoughts and feelings can be shared without judgement. Conversations are central, but she also uses art as a way to explore material that can be hard to put into words. For many children through to adults, creative work provides an alternative route to express and process emotions when verbalising feels overwhelming.
The creative process externalises internal experience, making feelings visible and tangible so they can be reflected on and worked with further. By engaging the senses through playful and adaptive art techniques, Miranda offers practical ways for people to express, experience and communicate themselves, drawing on a wide range of materials and methods to suit each individual.
