Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Dr. Michael Galvin
I have over 40 years of experience as a psychologist with a wide variety of problems, first in a mental health center, and then in private practice. I have taught and trained therapists in three universities and also worked in executive coaching. I am now mostly retired, but still do a fair amount of training and consulting, and like to see a few clients.
I studied quite a few of our traditional therapy methods and practiced them for many years, and I was always adopting what I thought was better. Then I discovered two approaches which impressed me as more effective than anything I had seen before: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Energy Psychology, and I now specialize in Energy Psychology. These methods have now been around for a couple of decades, are backed by a large body of research, and are producing rapid and lasting results for people. They can be applied to almost any condition and are especially effective with anxiety- and trauma-related issues.
I would be happy to talk with you about getting the help you need.

He encountered two approaches that he found particularly compelling: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Energy Psychology, and he now specializes in Energy Psychology. These methods have been used for several decades, are supported by a substantial body of research, and often produce rapid, lasting results. They are applicable to a wide range of conditions and are especially effective for anxiety- and trauma-related issues.
He is a licensed psychologist in Colorado, holding state-issued credentials (registered as PSY.0000508). He would be happy to speak with prospective clients about getting the help they need.
For many common concerns—such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes—online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. It is a viable option for addressing a wide range of everyday mental health needs.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can connect with a therapist in the format that fits their schedule and comfort level, using video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to keep regular appointments and integrate therapy into a busy life.
Each participating clinician is a licensed professional, and if someone decides a different therapeutic fit would work better, it is possible to switch therapists. Online therapy provides many of the same therapeutic benefits as face-to-face care while offering greater convenience for many clients.
