Meredith Fiedler is a licensed clinical social worker in Florida and a certified clinical telemental health provider with 13 years of experience working as a therapist and more than 20 years in the broader mental health and substance abuse fields. She works with adults ages 18 and over and brings a trauma-informed perspective to her clinical work.
Her practice focuses on the spectrum of mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, as well as anxiety, addiction, trauma and abuse, stress management, and self-esteem concerns. Meredith also addresses relationship and family conflicts, LGBT issues, grief, anger management, career difficulties, and provides coaching and support for compassion fatigue.
Meredith uses a holistic, collaborative, client-centered approach, tailoring interventions to match each person’s needs and goals. She draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, mindfulness practices, and motivational enhancement strategies to help clients build on their strengths and find what works best for them.
She prioritizes creating a non-judgmental, supportive space where clients can discuss their thoughts, concerns, and feelings and emphasizes the importance of a strong therapeutic fit. Recognizing that life brings change and stress, Meredith encourages taking the first step toward support and is ready to work with clients to improve their situation.
Meredith looks forward to working with clients seeking guidance and growth.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparably effective to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit of remote therapy is the flexibility it provides. Individuals can connect in the way that suits them best - via video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging - which often makes it easier to incorporate care into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals deliver online therapy, and if a different fit is desired, it is possible to switch therapists. This approach can help people access consistent support while balancing the demands of everyday life.
