Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working as a therapist and in case management. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, poor impulse control, low self esteem, parenting problems, stress management, anger management, addiction, and those who have experienced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Once that foundation is laid, one of several therapeutic modalities can be utilized, depending on the issue at hand. These modalities may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Psychotherapy. An Integrated approach can be utilized as well.
I received my Associate of Arts Degree in Psychology from Okaloosa Walton Community College. I then received my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Florida A&M University and received my Master’s Degree from Florida State University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked with populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings with various age groups. I have managed a halfway house for women with dual diagnosis, in addition to managing a specialized program for both teenage girls and boys, which included providing individual and group counseling. I have worked in the state hospital in Georgia and worked with community based care.
I am known for being a good listener, caring, sensitive, and open minded. My style is warm and interactive. Many people ask whether therapy delivered online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, research and clinical experience indicate that online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that fits their life and comfort level, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to keep up with regular sessions without rearranging work or family schedules.
Therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they want a different fit. For many people, the combination of accessibility and professional support makes online therapy a practical and effective way to address everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
