Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello and welcome! If you are researching Better Help, you are taking a positive first step in making a change to your life. It is extremely important that you find the right counselor to help guide you through life’s challenges. The therapeutic relationship between you and your counselor is necessary for making progress towards your goals. I’m going to share some background information with you to help you decide whether my experience and style would be helpful for you.
I have a bachelors degree from Butler University and a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University. I have been a social worker for almost 10 yrs which has provided me the opportunity to work with many people that come with a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. Much of my work has been with individuals and families facing extreme challenges that come from serious illness and supporting ways in which our physical, emotional, and mental health are interconnected. I’m experienced in working with people who are living with anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, substance use, and relationship/family dynamic issues. If you decide that we may be a good fit, you can expect to find a counselor who is empathic, respectful, and nonjudgmental. I will always be honest with you and will challenge you when needed. I am here to help guide you through life’s stressors and assist you in meeting goals based on your values and what is most meaningful.
We can connect through any mode that you are most comfortable with be that video, phone, or online chat. My availability will be limited to evenings and weekends, however, I will check messages at least one time during the weekday.
I really appreciate you taking the time to learn about how we may work together and would consider it a privilege to walk with you on your unique journey!

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adapting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most individuals.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can meet with a therapist in the way that fits their schedule and comfort level, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to maintain continuity of care amid busy lives.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they decide a different fit is needed. Online therapy can be a practical, accessible way to address everyday mental health concerns while working toward meaningful goals.
