Maureen Kirchhoff is a licensed therapist with 40 years of professional experience, practicing in Wyoming and authorized to work with clients in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Washington. She is a clinical social worker licensed to practice in both Wyoming and Colorado and has spent decades helping people cope with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, low motivation, self-esteem concerns, and relationship issues.
Maureen approaches each person with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, tailoring conversations and treatment plans to fit each individual’s needs. She is willing to include faith-based counseling when that aligns with a client’s preferences. At present she works only with individual clients aged 21 and older and is not offering couples or family therapy.
Maureen recognizes that taking the first step toward therapy often requires courage and she acknowledges and supports those who begin that process.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns - including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes - online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility. Clients can connect with therapists in the format that fits their lives best: video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to schedule care around work, family, and other commitments.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if a client feels they need a different match, they may switch to another therapist at any time. For many people facing common mental health concerns, online therapy provides an accessible and effective option.
