Mary Sullivan

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Hello! Please Note: I would like to extend my expertise in treating trauma to those who have been affected by recent shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs. Please reach out for help, you don’t have to go it alone.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, a certified addictions counselor, and Licensed Professional Counselor with over 35 years of experience working in a variety of clinical settings and diverse populations. As of recent, I have been incorporating into my traditional practice, alternatives to treatment as a Preparation and Integration Specialist. I have a very special interest in assisting our Veterans, First Responders, Law Enforcement and their families regarding trauma informed care/PTSD. I sincerely believe that addressing any trauma struggles in a manner that the client finds beneficial, will also assist with anxiety, depression, relationship and addiction issues. I work to provide a safe space for my clients to address issues in order to feel better and to promote the acquisition of a skill set for future problem solving. I would love to work with you if you are a resident of Colorado, USA.

My therapeutic approach is a mix of philosophies, techniques and styles which I feel have been effective in my 35 years of experience as a clinician. I believe that something unique to my practice is the idea that education around what is troubling us is valuable; for example, becoming familiar with how PTSD effects our Central Nervous System and so forth. I believe knowledge is power and I hope to empower my clients to live happier, fuller lives.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether receiving therapy online really makes a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.

One of the main benefits is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that best fits their needs, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to keep appointments and maintain consistency in care.

All therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients can request a different therapist if they want another fit. Online therapy can be a practical, accessible option for people seeking professional support for everyday mental health concerns.
