Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a registered psychotherapist in the UK with over 20 years of work experience. I offer therapy sessions to Better Help clients using the audio-visual format only, and not by text or phone call.
My way of working involves dialogue, focussing in upon your feelings, thoughts and concerns. Dialogue is the starting point for a way of experiencing yourself, aiming at psychological movement and change. Therapy at times might also provide space for quiet reflection to absorb or weigh up a problem. Your issues will be explored in real depth. How long this takes depends on you as an individual person, according to what you require: some clients I see for short periods of time (for what I would view to be counselling) and some for longer periods of time (for psychotherapy).
In my view therapy is not primarily about technique because, alas, there is no technique that will get you instantly ‘cured’ of all your problems. Therapy works because it provides the opportunity to understand and investigate yourself, and your relations with others, through the freedom created by a safe and professionally boundaried therapeutic relationship.
I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, intimacy related issues, and coping with life changes. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. And I am here to support you in that journey.

Mark Nuttall is a registered psychotherapist practising in the United Kingdom with over 20 years of experience. He offers therapy sessions to Better Help clients using an audio-visual format only and does not provide support by text or phone call.
His approach centres on dialogue, with attention given to a client’s feelings, thoughts and concerns. Conversation serves as the entry point for exploring ways of experiencing oneself, with the aim of promoting psychological movement and meaningful change.
Therapy with him can also include moments of quiet reflection to allow a problem to be absorbed or weighed up. Issues are examined in real depth and the length of that work is determined by what each person needs—some people engage for shorter periods of counselling, while others continue for longer-term psychotherapy.
He does not present therapy as a quick technical fix, since no single technique will instantly resolve every difficulty. Instead he offers the opportunity to investigate oneself and one’s relationships with others within a professionally boundaried therapeutic relationship that supports exploration and understanding.
Mark Nuttall has experience helping people with stress and anxiety, intimacy-related concerns and coping with life changes. He also works with addictions, relationship problems, trauma and abuse, grief, sleep difficulties, anger, self-esteem issues and depression.
Taking the first steps toward change requires courage, and he aims to support people as they move toward a more fulfilling and happier life.
