Louise Flory is a BACP accredited therapist in the United Kingdom who qualified over 25 years ago and draws on decades of experience in the charity sector. Her background includes work at Mind, two bereavement charities and a charity supporting people who were sexually abused in childhood, giving her a practical, down-to-earth approach to therapy and an ability to put people at their ease and listen to what they need to say.
Her clinical perspective is informed by initial psychodynamic training and extensive continuous professional development, including Barnado’s Certificate in Adoption Support Counselling (2023) and Shape of Grief’s Level Three Advanced Certificate in Grief and Loss (2025). She has supported thousands of people over the years, developing particular expertise in grief and bereavement whether a death occurred yesterday or many years ago.
Louise practices as a female, non-religious and liberal therapist, offering warmth, empathy and informed bereavement support. As a BACP accredited practitioner - accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, which recognises practitioners who meet professional standards - she provides grief counselling and adoption-related support grounded in long experience and ongoing training.
