Lorraine Bennett is a Detroit native who moved to Grand Rapids to attend Aquinas College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She has worked with a range of agencies and community-based programs, teaching psycho-educational groups in the Inner City of Grand Rapids and supporting efforts that promote self-awareness, personal independence, and resilience.
She is the founder of Celebrate Life Foundation, LLC, and serves as CEO of Life Without Flaws, LLC. In 2005 she launched Celebrate Life Foundation as a non-profit to raise awareness about practical ways to build a strong foundation for good health and to encourage people to live lives worth celebrating.
With education and life experience that inform her work, Lorraine takes a comprehensive approach to life’s challenges by addressing spiritual, physical, and mental health from a holistic perspective. She practices in Michigan as a Licensed Professional Counselor and brings five years of clinical experience to her private practice, Life Without Flaws, where she provides therapy and consulting services to continue her community-focused efforts.
Her own ongoing path of development fuels a passion for helping others pursue personal growth across all areas of life.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility - clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to schedule care around work, family, and other commitments.
Clients work with licensed professionals, and if someone decides they would prefer a different therapist, it is possible to switch at any time. For many people, online therapy offers a practical, effective option for addressing everyday mental health concerns and supporting personal growth.
