Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Loretta Collins, and I am an LCPC in the state of Maryland. After a 25-year career in sales, I decided to return to school and get my Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work from a cognitive-behavioral and person-centered methodology. Therapy is not one-sided but a partnership. My background is working with people suffering from substance use disorders and other dual diagnoses, including PTSD, MDD, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, to name a few. One of the reasons I became a counselor was to stop the stigma of psychological health. Until we start referring to brain disorders on the same par with physical problems, psychological health will continue to be considered in a “less than” manner.
