Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome and thank you for checking out my profile. I am available to work with an adult population, and as a licensed therapist, I am sensitive to the fact that sometimes people’s lives are not going the way they would like. And for some, they are not even sure why. This, and many other issues interfere with our self-satisfaction, happiness, sense of safety and our relationships. My experience lies with helping people to sort through their experiences and to understand where and how they can make needed changes. My primary approach to therapy is to use EMDR and somatic interventions with my clients gain awareness of what stands in their way of healing their traumas. My experience also includes working with anxiety and depression, OCD, DID , stress and behavioral issues along with a range of other problems.

Lois Craig welcomes adults seeking support through life’s difficult moments and transitions. She approaches each person with sensitivity to how confusion, dissatisfaction, and disrupted relationships can undermine well-being, and she helps people identify where change is possible.
With 12 years of clinical experience, Lois works primarily with adults facing stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, low self-esteem, depression, and challenges coping with life changes. Her background also includes working with obsessive-compulsive patterns, dissociative identity concerns, stress-related and behavioral issues, and a variety of other difficulties that affect daily functioning.
Her primary therapeutic approach combines EMDR – a trauma-focused method – with somatic interventions to help clients become aware of what blocks healing and to process traumatic material in a body-informed way. Lois holds a California Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor credential (license number 283), and she practices in California, offering compassionate, evidence-informed care aimed at practical change and increased emotional safety.
Many people ask whether remote therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can connect in whichever format fits their schedule and comfort level, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This makes it simpler to maintain continuity of care when life is busy or circumstances change.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch to a different therapist if they decide a different fit would be better. Online therapy can offer a practical, accessible way to pursue mental health support while retaining many of the same therapeutic benefits as face-to-face work.
