Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome! My name is Lindsey Stevens, MA, LPC-S. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, as well as a Board Certified LPC Supervisor. I have 10 years experience in the mental health field, 7 of those as a licensed clinician. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationship issues. Most of my experience is with substance abuse with extensive experience in medication assisted treatment (treating opiate dependence). With warmth, acceptance, and non-judgement, I provide a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and concerns. My goal is to empower them, while also helping them identify and utilize effective coping skills. My approach combines cognitive behavioral and person-centered. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities based on the need of the individual at the present time. My ultimate objective is to provide a safe environment for my clients to speak openly about life’s stressors and help them navigate their journey.

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
An important benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose the communication method that fits their needs and schedule best – video conversations, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy life.
Therapy delivered online is provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they prefer a different fit. For many individuals, the combination of demonstrated effectiveness and convenient access makes online therapy a practical option to consider.
