Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome to my profile, my name is Lewis. A counsellor and registered member with the BACP.
You have taken the time to search for a counsellor, so let me tell you a bit about myself and what you can expect if you have an interest in starting your therapeutic journey with me.
You may be experiencing challenges which carry some history, or it could be challenges that are happening right now. Regardless, this is the space where you can bring these challenges and we will work through them together.
I work with an Integrative approach, which means I don’t work with a one size fits all approach. Depending on what you wish to bring and discuss, depends on the way we can work and the tools we can use whilst working together. This will all be done from a place of two adults in a space and simply talking.
Whist it can be difficult to speak about how you are feeling and the challenges you are facing with people, this space will be different. Its a space where there is no judgement, you are not being told how you should or should be feeling or how you should be working through things. This is a space where we speak about things at your own pace with the aim of meeting your needs or what you would consider as your end goal.
Whatever your reason is for seeking therapy, there is a space for you here to start this journey.

Lewis Gains is a counsellor and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) with four years of clinical experience.
He recognises that people come to therapy for issues rooted in the past or for difficulties unfolding in the present, and he offers a calm space to bring those concerns and work through them together.
Working from an integrative approach, he does not apply a one-size-fits-all method. The way he and a client work together – and the tools used in sessions – depend on what the client wishes to explore.
Sessions are held from a standpoint of two adults meeting in a space and simply talking. This is a non-judgemental environment where clients are not told how they should feel or how to process their experiences; rather, conversations progress at the client’s pace with the aim of meeting their needs or agreed goals.
Whatever the reason for seeking therapy, Lewis provides an open invitation to begin that journey.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or coping with life changes, online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions for a large number of people.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, choosing between video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into daily life and maintain continuity of care.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they feel a different fit is needed.
