Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed male therapist in California. I am not allowed to work with anyone not located in California during the therapy session. I have 30 plus years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients and couples with relationship issues, family conflicts, child abuse, & parenting issues. I have worked with families, teens and children in the Department of Mental Health and in Child Protective Services as well as an Adult Psychiatric Unit. I cared for my mother 24/7 for the last four years of her life. I cared for a couple in their 90s for the last four years of their lives. At the end I worked with the hospice team. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Those who are religious I address that when appropriate. Those who are not religious I never bring that up. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Leslie Patt is a licensed male therapist practicing in California with 25 years of professional experience. He holds CA LMFT 17513, a California license as a marriage and family therapist, and is only permitted to provide therapy to clients who are located in California at the time of the session.
He has extensive experience assisting clients and couples with relationship issues, family conflicts, child abuse concerns, and parenting challenges. His work history includes positions with the Department of Mental Health, Child Protective Services, and an adult psychiatric unit, and he has worked with families, teens, and children.
Leslie also has direct caregiving experience: he provided 24/7 care for his mother during the final four years of her life and cared for a couple in their 90s through their last four years, collaborating with hospice teams at the end of life. He approaches people with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and he customizes conversations and treatment plans to meet each person’s specific needs.
When faith matters to a client, Leslie addresses it appropriately; if a client is not religious, he does not introduce religion into therapy. He acknowledges that starting therapy can require courage and affirms clients for taking that first step.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A key advantage is flexibility. Clients can meet with a therapist in the format that feels most comfortable – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and if someone decides they would prefer a different fit, they may switch therapists at any time.
