Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed professional counselor licensed in the state of Georgia where I have several years of experience with working individuals, families, couples, and the geriatric community. I received my degree from Richmont Graduate University where I learned to incorporate the practice of my faith along with the development of clinical practices of therapy. I was afforded the opportunity to train at a mental health facility while also completing my practicum in private practice setting within the church. Due to this training, I have been able to worked with individuals with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, ADD, low self-esteem, and provided support for family members who have been diagnosis with a mental health diagnosis.
My therapy style is that of a warm and inviting atmosphere. I believe that therapy is a place for one to come and feel vulnerable to express themselves in the effort of obtaining true happiness and peace. I strive to create a place of safety and comfort for one to overcome challenges in such a manner that one feels judged or misunderstood. I work several therapeutic modalities. These techniques include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, emotion focused therapy, and brief solution focused therapy. I work along side each individual to establish their own goals and desired outcome from the therapy process.
I consider it a privilege and an honor that I am allowed to sit and journey with each individual as they come into their true self and place of happiness. I look forward to sit with as we work together to accomplish your goals. Until we meet, be well.
