Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is LaDeana Artis and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have 21 years of experience in the field of mental health and 11 of those years, I have worked as a therapist in an Outpatient setting. Over the course of my career, I have been fortunate to work with many different populations of individuals and families present with a myriad of symptoms, stressors, and challenging life situations.
My areas of specialization are working with individuals who have experienced trauma/abuse/neglect, abandonment/attachment issues, personality disorders, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, family conflict, perinatal mental health challenges, as well as relationship/marital concerns.
I believe in meeting people where they are and therefore my approach tends to be more person-centered/humanistic in nature, as it would depend on the presenting/identified need of the individual or family.
I tend to combine different treatment modalities, such as Cognitive behavior therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy, Interpersonal therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Structural family therapy, and Motivational interviewing , developing interventions that may best meet the needs of the individual, couple, and/or family.
The first step toward healing and positive change is identifying that there is something that one would like to improve or change about themselves. It takes strength and a sense of humility to allow yourself to be vulnerable and open enough to take that journey inward. If you are ready to do the work…ready for a journey of introspection…ready to carve out a path toward positive change…then this is the right place for you.
I look forward to working with you.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care.
One of the clearest benefits is flexibility – clients can meet with a therapist in the format that works best for them, whether by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit consistent care into busy schedules and to maintain momentum between sessions.
Therapy provided online is delivered by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients have the option to change providers if they need a different fit. For many people, remote therapy offers a practical, accessible way to address mental health needs without sacrificing quality of care.
