Dr. Kimberly Walsh is a Utah-licensed psychologist with 32 years of experience helping people make meaningful changes, feel better, and manage stress and conflict more effectively. She emphasizes the importance of regular self-care to build resilience and face life’s demands with greater ease, supporting clients as they pursue their personal and professional goals.
She has worked with people ages 6 through senior and offers assistance to parents with behavioral management for children and teens as well as help with family relationship issues. With adult clients she integrates cognitive behavioral therapy alongside emotional freedom technique (EFT) and other therapeutic approaches. Dr. Walsh also brings specialized experience in treating individuals diagnosed with bipolar disorder and those with neuropsychological impairment related to traumatic brain injury or other conditions.
Dr. Walsh earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English Literature from Cornell University, a Master’s in Counseling from Florida State University, and a Doctor of Psychology with a Clinical Psychology major from Florida Tech. She has completed post-graduate training in neuropsychological assessment and a post-doctoral master’s in clinical psychopharmacology. She is licensed to practice psychology in Utah.
Outside of clinical work she enjoys gourmet cooking and baking, caring for companion animals, organic gardening, yoga, kickboxing, and a non-denominational spiritual practice that includes regular meditation.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility - clients can connect in the way that fits their schedule and comfort level, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to maintain regular care.
Therapists who provide online services are licensed professionals, and clients may switch to a different therapist at any time if they would prefer another fit. Online therapy can be a practical and accessible way to get consistent support for everyday mental health concerns.
