Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi. I’m a Florida-based Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 20 years of experience. I’ve worked with adolescents to older adults, victim’s of crime to inmates, people with one diagnosis to those with co-occurring disorders, dual diagnosis, in the outpatient and inpatient setting, with individuals and groups. I spent several years as a rape crisis and trauma recovery therapist at a local Community Mental Health Center; most of my experience has been in the non-profit arena.
I’m passionate about women’s issues but I enjoy working with all different kinds of people and problems and my treatment approach reflects that. I use an eclectic variety of theories to help people. I enjoy challenging clients to challenge themselves, to learn and grow. I find cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to broadly be the most effective approach but sometimes dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) or client-centered works best. Sometimes people have what they need to get things worked out and just might need a solid sounding broad; to offer support by just listening & normalizing what they’re going through.
Whatever the need may be, my goal is to offer a supportive and safe space to address it. I start by meeting the client where they are and continue by working collaboratively with them to achieve their goals. I strive to empower them, by building on the strengths they already have and providing the skills and tools they may be missing. I enjoy helping people be their whole and authentic self!

Kimberly Herring is a Florida-based Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 20 years of clinical experience. She holds a Florida license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), credential MH18712, and has supported people across the lifespan from adolescents to older adults.
Her clinical background spans work with victims of crime and inmates, individuals with a single diagnosis as well as those with co-occurring or dual diagnoses, and practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Kimberly has provided therapy in individual and group formats and spent several years as a rape crisis and trauma recovery therapist at a local Community Mental Health Center, with much of her experience rooted in the non-profit arena.
While she is passionate about women’s issues, Kimberly enjoys working with a broad range of presenting concerns and people. She challenges clients to challenge themselves and to grow, and also recognizes when someone simply needs a steady sounding board, empathetic listening, and normalization of their experience.
Her goal is to provide a supportive, safe space where she meets clients where they are and collaborates with them to reach their goals. Kimberly focuses on empowering clients by building on existing strengths and supplying skills and tools they may be missing, with the aim of helping them become their whole, authentic selves.
Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
One of the main benefits is convenience – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to maintain continuity of care.
All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and if a different fit is desired, clients have the option to switch therapists at any time. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, effective way to address everyday mental health needs and life transitions.
