Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi there, my name is Kim and if you are reading this, you have taken the first and hardest step towards finding empowerment and learning to love yourself. My therapy style is person-centered and as such I believe that we all have inside of us the ability to achieve a better self and to love the beautiful unique person that we are, however sometimes we all need a little bit more and we may use tools from other models to enable us to reach that goal. There comes a time in all of our lives where we need extra support to remember who we are and how much we have achieved. I can assist you on your journey without judgment and in complete confidence to find your true self and accept that you can achieve this goal and learn to change your way of thinking. I have experience of working with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, hoarding, historical child sex abuse, PTSD, grief, domestic, sexual violence and relationship issues. I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere closely to their ethical framework for good practice. I am empathic, honest, and non-judgemental and if I feel I can not be of benefit to you I will discuss this with you and seek a referral to ensure you receive the best plan to help you reach your goals. I wish you good luck on your journey and well done for taking the first step.

Kim Simpson is a person-centered therapist based in the United Kingdom with five years of clinical experience. She works from the belief that each person has the capacity to grow toward a healthier, more self-accepting version of themselves, and she will draw on techniques from other therapeutic models when additional tools can help reach that goal.
Kim offers a calm, honest and empathic approach, supporting people through issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, grief and relationship difficulties. She also has experience addressing hoarding, historical child sex abuse, PTSD, domestic and sexual violence, addictions, eating issues, parenting and anger, as well as intimacy-related challenges and bipolar-related concerns.
As a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), Kim follows their ethical framework for good practice. She provides non-judgemental support and will discuss alternative options or referrals if she believes another pathway would better meet a person’s needs.
Clients can expect respectful, person-focused therapy that aims to help them remember their strengths, shift unhelpful thinking patterns and build practical coping strategies to move forward.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or life transitions – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. It is a practical option for people seeking support for those kinds of issues.
A major advantage of online therapy is flexibility. Clients can choose the mode of contact that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging – making it simpler to fit therapy into a busy routine.
Licensed professionals provide care via these formats, and clients are able to change therapists if they feel another fit would serve them better. For many people, the combination of accessibility and professional support makes online therapy a useful step toward feeling better and managing everyday challenges.
