Kenneth Breniman is a California-licensed clinical social worker (CA LCSW 22958) with 19 years of clinical experience. He supports people dealing with stress and anxiety, LGBTQ+ related concerns, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, and issues around self-esteem.
He aims to create an open, safe space where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step toward therapy can require courage, and he seeks to co-create a brave environment to support clients along their life journeys.
Kenneth approaches care from a perspective that sees body, mind, and spirit as interconnected. While he respects diagnostic frameworks such as the DSM, he views diagnoses as potentially limiting for those pursuing deeper spiritual or existential work. His goal is to help clients understand how past experiences may contribute to current suffering and to provide room to heal and move forward.
As a lifelong learner, Kenneth has spent the last two decades exploring the intersection of psychology, yoga, sound healing, death studies, and psychedelic integration. He often integrates some or all of these modalities into sessions, depending on a client’s needs. He has been a licensed clinical social worker since 2005.
