I hold a Masters degree in counselling and psychotherapy and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. In addition to my private practice, I work nationally with survivors of domestic abuse and traumatic and coercive relationships. Prior to becoming a therapist, I enjoyed a long corporate career and a lot of life experience which informs my approach. Keith Miller holds a Master’s degree in counselling and psychotherapy and is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. He has worked in a busy NHS health centre and brings practical experience helping people with a range of challenges, including depression and anxiety, stress, domestic abuse, and grief and loss.
In private practice he supports individuals who are trying to understand themselves better and to unlock the resources they already have to create positive change. He also works nationally with survivors of domestic abuse and with people who have experienced traumatic and coercive relationships.
Before training as a therapist, Keith enjoyed a long corporate career and draws on that life and work experience in his approach. As an older male therapist with three years of clinical experience, he aims to offer a professional yet approachable space where people can take constructive steps toward change. Visiting the site is an important and brave step, and Keith believes he can work with people to continue that journey.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and managing life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility. People can choose the format that suits them best, whether that is video calls, telephone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging, making it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapy is delivered by licensed professionals, and if someone decides a different therapist would be a better fit they can change at any time. Online therapy offers a practical route to accessing support while preserving many of the therapeutic elements found in face-to-face work.
