Katrina Brown

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for Texas, Missouri and Kansas. I am from many states of the Midwest partly from having a parent in the military and most recently due to wanting to be closer to family. I am now practicing clinician in Texas by way of St. Louis. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia (Go Mizzou!) and my Master’s of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been licensed for almost 15 years working mostly with individuals dealing with conflicts in their relationship, family, or work stress. I utilize a variety techniques that challenges negative thought patterns, identify strengths, and empowers my clients so they can begin the process towards clarity and peace. It is important to me for my clients to feel understood and feel a sense of ownership. I am a strong listener and I ask a lot of questions for understanding. Life can be unpredictable and full of ups and downs, and having someone that is encouraging can help through the journey.

Is Online Therapy the Right Fit for Your Needs?

Many people ask whether therapy delivered online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy is generally as effective as traditional in-person care.

One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose the format that works best for them – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to fit treatment into a busy schedule.

Therapists who provide online care are licensed professionals, and if a different match is needed, clients typically have the option to switch providers. This approach makes therapy more accessible while maintaining a professional standard of care.
