Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome to a new way of looking at life. We are going to problem-solve and overcome obstacles together. All you will need is to be open and willing to work through the process.
I started out my career working at the Department of Children and Families in New York where I discovered I wanted to obtain my Master’s degree in Counseling because I wanted to help individuals achieve their goals. I obtained my degree and commenced in the counseling field in 1996 working with families. I gained experience in mood disorders (depression, bipolar), substance abuse, conduct issues, and familial conflict. As the years passed, my knowledge expanded in mental health and substance abuse while working in inpatient and outpatient treatment with adults. I currently live in Florida where I achieved my LMHC and continue to work with individuals grappling with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive conditions. My ability to speak two languages (Spanish and English) has allowed me to reach a broader population.
I know how difficult it is to make the decision to ask for help and begin the process of modifying ones thoughts and behaviors. However, I want to make this journey as smooth and painless as possible. I see emotional serenity in your future and I look forward to hearing from you.

Karen Lopez-Feliciano is a licensed mental health counselor in Florida with 22 years of clinical experience. She approaches therapy as a collaborative process, helping people problem-solve and overcome obstacles while asking that clients come to sessions open and willing to work through the process.
Her career began at the Department of Children and Families in New York, where she decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling to better support individuals and families. After completing her graduate studies, she entered the counseling field in 1996, working primarily with families and gaining hands-on experience with mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, substance abuse, conduct issues, and familial conflict.
Over the years her clinical experience broadened to include both inpatient and outpatient work with adults, deepening her knowledge of mental health and substance use treatment. Now based in Florida, she maintains her practice as a licensed mental health counselor and continues to support people facing emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges. Her ability to work in both English and Spanish enables her to reach a wider population.
She understands how difficult it can be to decide to seek help and begin changing thoughts and behaviors. Her goal is to make the therapeutic journey as smooth and manageable as possible, and she looks forward to hearing from prospective clients who are ready to take that next step.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – you can connect in the way that best fits your life and comfort level, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit regular sessions into a busy schedule.
All therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and if you decide you would prefer a different match you are free to switch therapists at any time. For many people, the combination of effectiveness and convenience makes online therapy a practical option for getting support.
