Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Kara and I am so excited for the opportunity to work with you! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Tennessee. I have 7 years of experience working with a variety of individuals experiencing concerns such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, self esteem, life changes and transitions, and relationship challenges. I have also worked with many people who have experienced domestic violence, trauma, and acute crisis.
I use a wide variety of approaches with clients, all of which come down to being client centered. I tailor my approach to each person I work with, using primarily a combination of elements of EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I am always growing, learning, and adapting my approaches to be the best therapist that I can be.
It has taken so much courage to even get to this point in your journey of self improvement and discovery, applaud yourself for that! The idea of going to therapy can be scary and it keeps a lot of people away. I like to think of going to therapy as a scheduled time in your week to invest in yourself – it doesn’t mean that something is wrong with you. Rather, coming to therapy means something is RIGHT with you. You are taking control of your life, admitting that things could be going better, and making steps to achieve your goals. It’s okay if you don’t know where to start – we can figure it out together. I hope to walk with you and empower you on your new journey.
I am looking forward to getting to know you!

Kara Fedore is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Tennessee with eight years of clinical experience. She works with people facing a range of concerns, including substance abuse, depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, life changes and transitions, and relationship difficulties.
She has also supported many individuals impacted by domestic violence, trauma, and acute crisis, bringing experience and care to those navigating difficult circumstances.
Kara practices from a client-centered perspective, tailoring her approach to each person she serves. She integrates elements of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to meet individual needs, and she continually learns and adapts her methods to provide effective care.
She recognizes the courage it takes to begin therapy and encourages people to view sessions as a regular time to invest in themselves rather than a sign that something is wrong – it reflects a decision to take control and work toward better outcomes. If someone is unsure where to start, Kara collaborates to identify goals and steps forward, and she looks forward to getting to know each person she works with.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the primary benefits is flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that feels most comfortable for them – through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapists providing online care are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch providers if they want a different fit. This combination of evidence-based effectiveness and flexible access makes online therapy a practical option for many people seeking support.
