Judith Sachs is a Florida-licensed clinical social worker (FL LCSW SW8396) with 20 years of professional experience. She works with stress, anxiety, addictions, family conflicts, grief and loss, and anger, and is a female, older, liberal therapist.
She approaches each person with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, tailoring conversation and treatment plans to meet each individual’s specific needs. Judith aims to provide a comfortable and safe space in which clients can explore their concerns and develop coping strategies.
Judith has been in recovery from addiction for much of her adult life and shares that lived experience with clients who are struggling with addiction as part of her 12th step practice. She empathizes with where clients are in their journeys and hopes her own path will be helpful as others begin or continue theirs.
In her in-person work Judith often has two co-therapists present, Yogi and Bear, who are Shih Tzus; she lets clients know they are around, that they may hang near the desk, and that they will probably want to meet you online unless you object. Judith maintains a separate private practice in addition to being available online with Betterhelp, and she will make an effort to accommodate specific scheduling requests if a preferred time is not listed on the availability page.
Note: LCSW stands for Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Judith practices under the Florida license number SW8396.
