Joy Kelleher welcomes people who are ready to take a step toward change and offers approachable, experienced clinical care. With 25 years as a social worker and a background that includes international practice, she has supported clients across the lifespan with a wide range of needs. She meets people where they are and adapts her approach to fit each individual’s goals and circumstances.
Her therapeutic style is relational and strength-based, with an emphasis on individualized treatment. Clients can expect empathetic, professional support focused on practical tools and personal resilience. She helps people process grief and loss, work through trauma, and recover from other adversities while building on their existing strengths.
Joy also brings a commitment to community service into her work. She volunteers as an assistant swim coach at a local university, supporting student-athletes as they navigate college demands and develop life skills. She has extensive experience guiding young adults through major life transitions, as well as working with adults facing relationship concerns, career challenges, anxiety, and depression.
Joy is a licensed clinical social worker in Georgia and is qualified to provide clinical social work services. She aims to reduce barriers to care through flexible scheduling and approaches that fit each client’s preferences. She looks forward to meeting people, learning about their experiences, and supporting them on their personal journeys.
