I began my career as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas in 2007. I have been providing therapy in community mental health centers, agencies, colleges, and a bereavement center throughout my career. I have worked with individuals of all ages and from a diverse range of backgrounds. I have worked with people who come in with stress concerns, anxiety, depression, and grief. Working through challenges presents a great opportunity for personal growth. My goal is to help you to see that you are in control of your life. I will challenge your thought process to assist you to understand the core of who you are and why you are struggling. This process will not be easy, and sometimes it may be uncomfortable; however, it will be incredibly rewarding and fulfilling if you have the desire to change.
The therapy I provide is based on client-centered, integrating other approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy. We will discuss your concerns, develop priorities, and work together to accomplish your goals. We will explore several approaches and may use books and creative activities, like art or writing. All these would be specifically chosen for your unique concerns and interests.
I am looking forward to talking with you and begin a therapy time together! It takes courage to make changes in your life. You have taken the initial step.

Many people ask whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life transitions, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care for most cases.
One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can meet with a therapist in the format that fits their schedule and comfort level, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to maintain regular sessions and integrate therapy into a busy life.
All participating professionals are licensed therapists, and clients have the option to change therapists at any time if they are seeking a different fit. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible, practical route to addressing everyday mental health concerns and relationship issues while fitting treatment into their routines.
