Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in South Texas with 10 years of professional work experience. My experience comes from working with kids, teens and young adults providing counseling and support in the educational setting. I also have experience providing mental health and behavioral counseling with a variety of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, gender identity, family issues, and trauma.
I have worked in a variety of settings, from community mental health, school based counseling (K-12 and higher education), and private practice settings. I believe that people are not defined by their experiences or what has happened to them in their past. Some of us just need some help to move forward in our lives past those experiences. I try my best to treat you and our therapeutic relationship with respect and understanding.
My treatment style draws from different techniques including Solution Focused, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also am a strong believer in engaging in the systems you are a part of to utilize the resources available to you. I am fairly laid back, and I am told I have a good sense of humor. I will meet you where you are and tailor my approach to treatment and create a plan on what will work best to work together and achieve your goals. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to access care from different locations.
Therapists who provide online services are licensed professionals, and clients can request a different therapist at any time if they would prefer a different fit. Online therapy offers a practical and effective option for many common mental health needs.
