Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, my name is Jennifer Dorado and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida with over 17 years of experience working with the community as a counselor. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida International University and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University. I’ve worked with clients on issues such as: anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, substance use, self-esteem, co-dependency, interpersonal conflicts and family conflict, among others. My approach to therapy is one in which I come along side a client to support them in achieving their personal goals and to help them work through the difficult times in life. Conflict with others or painful situations can make us feel depressed, anxious, emotionally drained, and confused about how to move forward. The great news is that by taking the courageous action of working on yourself, you can get through the difficult times, experience emotional healing and continue life with more well-being and hope. My therapeutic style is compassionate, client-centered, and solution-focused. I work with clients at their own pace and my therapeutic work focuses on helping a client identify the source of the problem, find their personal strengths, and use the therapeutic tools which will help empower them to attain their goals. I am here to support you and look forward to working with you!
