Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I started counseling after many life experiences, including nearly 20 years of public service in the military and State government. I went into the counseling field with a desire to help others based on my own past experiences. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor since 2014 and a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2022. My areas of specialization expanded from substance abuse to other areas, including anxiety, depression and trauma. I believe everyone is their own expert on how to change – sometimes we just need a different perspective. I take a holistic approach to supporting change. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but also integrate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, as well as talk therapy.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and doing anything related to “the great outdoors,” including hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and wind-therapy on my Harley.

Jason Williamson entered counseling after many life experiences, including nearly 20 years of public service in the military and State government. He pursued the counseling field out of a desire to help others shaped by his own past experiences.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jason has been a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor since 2014 and a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2022 (AZ LPC LPC-24239, OR LPC C9345). LPC stands for Licensed Professional Counselor.
His clinical focus expanded from substance use treatment to include stress, anxiety, addictions, trauma and abuse, self-esteem, and depression. He is a male, Christian, older, conservative therapist who brings those perspectives to his work.
Jason favors a holistic approach to change and believes people are the experts on their own lives – sometimes they need a different perspective to move forward. He primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and also integrates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy along with traditional talk therapy.
Outside of work he spends time with family and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and what he calls wind-therapy on his Harley.
Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – individuals can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it simpler to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients may choose to switch providers at any time if they prefer a different therapeutic fit.
