She brings 20 years of clinical experience to her work and has practiced in private practice for the last 13 years. Before establishing private practice, she worked directly with families, couples, and individuals in their homes, in her office, and through online sessions.

Jane is licensed to practice counseling in South Carolina and holds additional licensure in North Carolina; she was initially licensed in Virginia as a professional counselor. She has completed three levels of training in the Gottman Model, a research-based approach to marriage and couples therapy.

Her professional training is complemented by long experience in family life - she has been married for more than 40 years, is a mother of two, and a grandmother of eight - and she draws on both clinical knowledge and lived experience to guide her work.
