Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome to BetterHelp! I am a licensed therapist with over twelve years of experience in individual, family, and group therapy. I am passionate about supporting others in their journey to find inner peace and balance. Mental health often creates barriers to the ability to have healthy relationships, motivation to utilize healthy coping skills, and to find joy in daily life. I am currently licensed in Tennessee as a LCSW (#6086) and am a nationally certified TFCBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist) nationwide. I have experience in working with individuals, families and adolescents on a variety of life issues such as; depression, anxiety, mood, anger, family conflict, relationships, and trauma. I have training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and Play Therapy. My treatment style is rooted in a client or family centered psycho-dynamic approach. I have provided services in outpatient, inpatient, school based, detention, and in-home settings.
I am a survivor of childhood trauma. Being a survivor has given me the belief that there is always hope and that nothing in life is final, but ever changing with possibilities. If you are seeking to go on a journey to heal, achieve mental health wellness, then you have to look no farther. You will find connection that is based in empathy. We all need someone to reach out to and who can say, “Me too”.

Many people ask whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been found to be effective for most people in place of traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that best suits their routines and comfort level, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This makes it easier to integrate regular sessions into a busy life.
Each therapist involved in remote care is a licensed professional, and clients retain the option to switch therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. Online therapy can be a practical, accessible way to address everyday mental health concerns while maintaining continuity of care.
