Jacqueline Tow is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist based in Australia with 6 years of experience. She has worked with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, of different ages, and with diverse neurodiversity, and has particular experience supporting children, young people and parents or carers.
Jacqueline has also spent time living overseas, which gives her personal insight into the difficulties that can come with migration. Her practice is rooted in deep respect and follows trauma-informed, attachment-rich approaches alongside principles drawn from systemic family therapy.
She believes therapy can help people better understand themselves and the stories that shape their relationships, and offers a space intended to feel safe - a chance to pause and reflect. How many sessions a person chooses to attend is entirely up to them.
Her clinical approach is informed by a range of therapeutic models, including person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, systemic family therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility - clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether that is via video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to build therapy into a busy life.
All therapists are licensed professionals, and if someone decides they would prefer a different fit they are able to switch therapists at any time.
