Ida Terry brings 22 years of clinical experience helping people address addictions, family conflicts, grief, parenting concerns, depression, LGBT issues, relationship difficulties, trauma and abuse, intimacy-related challenges, anger management, self-esteem struggles, bipolar disorder, and coping with life changes.
She offers a calm, safe space where people can examine painful events, process wounds, and work through anger or resentment that may be impacting current relationships. Ida supports clients in pursuing healing and transformation while encouraging a growth-oriented mindset that aligns with their change goals.
Ida is dually licensed as a professional counselor and as an alcohol counselor, and she also holds professional counselor licenses in both Oregon and Connecticut. As a culturally responsive behavioral professional, she collaborates strategically with individuals, families, and couples, honoring each person’s cultural background and values.
Her clinical approach is informed by behavioral and collaborative therapies and guided by biblical principles, allowing treatment to be tailored to each client’s distinct needs. Ida’s formal training includes a Master of Arts degree in Counseling, a two-year Advanced Certificate in Internal Family System Theory, and a Certificate of Achievement in the Addiction Treatment of Military & Veteran Culture.
Based in Arizona, Ida looks forward to working collaboratively with clients who are ready to heal and grow.
