Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston with a specialty in clinical psychology and a subspecialty in the psychosocial aspects of physical disorders. I began my clinical private practice after having acquired a firm foundation from my internship at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics. In addition to my 20 years in private practice i was also consultant to various psychotherapy clinics and long term physical rehabilitation facilities. While my private practice was general (parent (child issues, marital discord, separation and aging), I also maintained a focus on the psychological effects of chronic autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, as well as other chronic disorders. I feel that a cognitive behavioral therapy approach , within a framework of client-centered and emotionally supportive interactions, is the most conducive to helping my clients to deal with their life’s conflicts and hurdles.

Henry Meyerson earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston, with a specialty in clinical psychology and a subspecialty focused on the psychosocial aspects of physical disorders. He established his clinical private practice after completing an internship at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics, building on that foundational training to inform his long-term work with patients.
Across a 50-year career, he has combined private practice with consulting roles for a range of psychotherapy clinics and long-term physical rehabilitation facilities. His private practice addressed a broad spectrum of concerns – including parenting and child issues, marital discord, separation and challenges related to aging – while he also maintained a focused interest in the psychological impact of chronic autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, along with other chronic disorders.
He prefers a cognitive behavioral therapy approach delivered within a client-centered and emotionally supportive framework to help people manage life conflicts and hurdles. He is licensed to practice psychology in New Jersey (NJ psychologist license 35SI00553300), and brings decades of clinical experience to his work with individuals and families.
Many people wonder whether online therapy truly helps. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most individuals.
One key advantage is flexibility – people can connect in the format that works best for them, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to choose the communication method that feels most comfortable.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to request a different therapist if they prefer another fit. For many, online therapy offers a practical and effective way to address everyday mental health needs and relationship concerns.
