Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I live in Vermont and have over 20 years of mental health experience with children, families, and adults. I have a graduate degree in clinical psychology and I am a licensed psychologist-master. I have provided psychotherapy and also supervised students and new therapists working toward getting licensed.
My clients have sought help with issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, family conflicts, parenting, and pregnancy/postpartum concerns. I pull from a variety of approaches, believing things are not one-size-fits-all. Together we work on coping skills, communication, relationships, and healing from painful or difficult experiences.
My training includes: Postpartum Support International, Mothers & Babies, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive and behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.
I believe mental health is supported through an individualized daily practice of habits, actions, and behaviors. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe place for you to reflect on past experiences, address current problems, and explore ways you can live a happier and healthier life.

Heather Wilson is a Vermont-based psychologist who brings 16 years of mental health experience working with children, families, and adults. She holds a graduate degree in clinical psychology and practices as a licensed psychologist-master in Vermont (VT Psychologist-Master 047.0089552).
She provides psychotherapy and has supervised students and early-career therapists as they pursue licensure. Heather supports individuals and families facing depression, anxiety, stress, trauma and abuse, relationship and family conflicts, parenting and pregnancy/postpartum concerns, grief, self-esteem struggles, career questions, compassion fatigue, and other life changes.
Her work draws on multiple evidence-informed approaches rather than a single model. Heather’s training includes Postpartum Support International, Mothers & Babies, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive and behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. Together with clients she focuses on building coping skills, improving communication and relationships, and supporting healing from difficult experiences.
As a non-religious female therapist, Heather emphasizes practical daily habits, actions, and behaviors that support mental health. Her aim is to provide a safe place for reflection on past experiences, to address present concerns, and to explore ways to live a healthier, more satisfying life.
For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Research and practice have shown online care can address the same types of issues typically seen in face-to-face work.
One of the main advantages is flexibility – people can connect in the way that fits them best, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility can make it simpler to fit therapy into a busy schedule or to access care from a preferred location.
Therapists who offer online services are licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch therapists at any time if they want a different fit. Online therapy offers another option for accessing professional mental health support without changing the core goals of therapy.
