Hazel Crane is credentialed in the UK with B.A.C.P. (the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adheres to its Ethical Codes of Practice. She frames counselling as a trusted relationship and works with clients to explore themselves and the people in their lives to make meaning of their world, aiming to help them feel safe, heard and understood.
She has experience supporting people with relationship and formative childhood issues, stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, and coping with grief and loss. Hazel believes clients are the experts of their own stories and supports them to work through difficulties at a pace that suits them.
Recognising that taking the first step into therapy often takes courage, Hazel offers listening and steady support. Her practice is person-centred, placing the client at the heart of the work while respecting their autonomy. She integrates person-centred, psychodynamic, somatic body work and parts work, and can also work with a C.B.T. approach, combining therapies to provide what each client needs in counselling.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can genuinely help. For common concerns - such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adapting to life changes - evidence shows that online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A key advantage is flexibility. Clients can choose the mode of connection that feels most comfortable - video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging - which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they prefer a different fit.
